Viar Valvole S.r.l. is producing forged steel Side Entry Ball valves in pressure classes from ANSI 150 to ANSI 2500 and to API 5000 and/or API 10000 as well as Top Entry ball valves which, for medium/large sizes are manufactured in cast steel execution and radiographic class as per following detail:
 

Floating execution : Side entry split body and/or Fully welded construction, flanged and/or BW ends, with or without transition pups:
Classes 150 and 300 : available sizes from ½” to 8”, full or reduced bore
Class 600 : available from ½” to 4”, full or reduced bore
Class 900/1500 : available from ½” to 2”, full or reduced bore
Floating execution: 2 pieces split body and/or monoblock construction, screw body and/or seal welded body, NPT and/or SW ends, with or without pups:
Classes 800 and 900/1500 : available from 3/8” to 2”, full or reduced bore
 

Trunnion mounted execution : Side entry split body and/or Fully welded construction, flanged, hub and/or BW ends,with or without transition pups:
Classes 150, 300 and 600 : available sizes from ½” to 56”, full or reduced bore
Class 900 : available sizes from ½” to 52”, full or reduced bore
Class 1500 : available sizes from ½” to 24”, full or reduced bore
Class 2500 : available sizes from ½” to 18”, full or reduced bore
API 5000 and 10000 : on application to Customer’s request
 

Top Entry execution : Bolted bonnet construction, flanged, hub and/or BW ends, with or without transition pups:
Classes 150, 300 and 600 : available sizes from 2” to 36”, full or reduced bore*
Class 900 : available sizes from 2” to 24” , full or reduced bore*
Class 1500 : available sizes from 2” to 12”, full or reduced bore*
*(Classes 150,300 and 600 are available in forged execution up to size 18”only or in cast steel execution for all sizes. Class 900 is available in forged execution        
    up to 12” only or in cast steel execution for all sizes and Class 1500 is available in forged execution only).
 

Construction features for all valves:

• Standard installations, double block and bleed or double piston effect
• Sub sea installations
• Cryogenic installations (extension of the manover to BS specification)
• Underground or pit installations (stem extension to Customer’s requirement)
• Double seat
• Rotating seat
• Soft or metal seats
• Special valve inside conditionings: seat pocket, cladding, ball coatings, inside body linings etc.
• Standard carbon steel valves outside coating: 75 microns of Carbo-zinc primer. On Customer’s application all other kind of protections or paints can be provided like different RAL selections, other special paints, polyurethane full coating in case of underground installation, metallization etc.
• Valves operators applicable: wrenches, gear boxes in horizontal or vertical position, T-key manovers, R.O.V., electric, electro-hydraulic, pneumatic, gas over oil and sub sea actuators including, where applicable, control panels and line-break devices.
